Dr. Hanlon is Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
in Chicago. Previously, he was Assistant Professor of Neurology and Psychology at Washington University School
of Medicine in St. Louis.
Hanlon teaches a graduate-level course titled Forensic Neuropsychology and Psychology in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Additionally, during the past 25 years, he has lectured in the following graduate courses:
- Neuropsychological Assessment and Diagnostics
- Brain Behavior Relations-Clinical Neuropsychology
- Case Studies in Clinical Neuropsychology
- Cognitive Rehabilitation
With over 50 publications, Dr. Hanlon's research has focused on the neuropsychological aspects of traumatic brain injury, neurocognitive and behavioral aspects of focal brain lesions, recovery of cognitive function and outcome following brain damage, and forensic issues including the neuropsychology of violent aggression.
